memories! lol, i know im not the only one that can recognize that chassis - it was all over tv in the late 80s, early 90s - tyco.....9.6v........the 9.6v turbo bandit.....9.6v turbo hopper......."heads up" turbo hopper - driver's head turned in the direction u steered the car....i can still remember the generic cowboy voice in the background for the turbo bandit commercial - truck crashing thru road barriers, over jumps, lol, i wanted that truck so bad back then - it seemed like alot more fun than the nikko buggy i had - mine was 4wd, even had a bigger motor, but it was only 7.2v (not 9.6 like the tycos on tv ! i wanted tyco 9.6v ! lol) and even more importantly, my buggy didnt do wheelies....and it couldnt jump gracefully like the tycos ( more on that later ) , but anyway, i digress.

this, along with alot of other cool rc stuff (many thanks:-) was given to me by SAVED1 on rcmt.net . it came with a futuristic looking buggy body - with small lead weights inserted in the rear of the body! found that out from Saved1 - so tyco cheated to make em pop wheelies ! lol - probably helped it keep its nose up during jumps also. the truck body ( came from another truck in the "box of goodies" i got from Saved1, and to me, looks closer to an old ford than a chevy or dodge, lol, so given the blower on the body, the tires, ive proclaimed this to be "BBB" - Blown Baja Blackfoot , lol. i like it :)

If u email me, and please feel free to do so, include a reference to RC or this site in the "SUBJECT". i get alot of spam, so if i see a strange email address with no subject, or a subject that says "hi" or "hello", etc, im not going to read it - so u need to say something in the subject that makes it clear to me that your message isnt spam. ndumu@hotmail.com
